My name is Sarah Young, and this is my fourth year teaching PreK-3 at St. Andrew's Country Day School. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Buffalo State College, and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Canisius College. I reside in the Kenmore area with my husband and son. Becoming a new mother this year has put a new perspective on all areas of my life including teaching. Children are the foundation of our future. I am thankful every day for the chance to help shape my students lives, and to be a positive role model. I am looking forward to a fun filled year with the children. Together we will discover a basic knowledge of the environment around them. We will have many opportunities to interact with other students, learn about respect, and a general love for school. It is my goal to create a positive school experience for all of my students. This year is about introducing them to school procedures, respect for God, respect for one another, and individuality. My motto for teaching is that everyone has something valuable to bring to others lives, and everyone should feel important, loved, and needed. Thank you for the chance to be a part of your child's life and have a positive impact on their education.
