HOMEWORK
Students in 3rd grade are generally given homework Monday through Thursday. However, there may be occasional work assigned over the weekend. It should take about 30 minutes each night to complete homework.
Homework allows me the opportunity to assess my students’ knowledge of concepts learned as well as their ability to apply those concepts. My students are expected to write all assignments in their planners, complete assignments neatly, and turn them in on time.
In addition to the assigned homework, I expect my students to read for 20-30 minutes each night.
