ALL ABOUT ME!

 Hello and welcome to my classroom webpage! My name is Maria Stainsby and this is my 12th year teaching at St. Andrew’s Country Day School.  I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Buffalo State College and received permanent New York State certification in Nursery School through Grade 6.

 Currently, I am teaching third grade.  I am also the Director of our school's after school program- STARCAST Explorers. Previously, I taught fifth, second, and fourth grades here at St. Andrew’s.  I also have experience teaching kindergarten while living in Denver, Colorado.

 I am the mother to a wonderful son named Conor who is a seventh grader at St. Andrew’s.  His activities keep me very busy! We enjoy visiting family in Texas each summer, walking through the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, and going to Sabres' and Bills' games.

 I am an avid Sabres and Bills fan and enjoy reading, scrapbooking and stamping.

 My time teaching at St. Andrew’s has been rewarding and enjoyable.  I am truly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to educating young minds at this wonderful school for years to come!
