Students are expected to study and be well prepared for all assessments.

Study guides or review sheets will be given to, or copied by, students in class before chapter tests. These will be valuable in directing study time to the topics that will be tested.

Parents will be informed if failure to hand in homework is a chronic problem.

Students will be given the opportunity to make corrections to all Math tests and quizzes on which they receive a grade of 89% or lower. Each student will receive a copy of proper correcting procedures that parents will sign.
Half credit will be given for each correction that results in the right answer. 90% is the highest grade that can be earned on a corrected test.

The purpose of making corrections to Math tests is to help students learn from their mistakes, and get a better grasp on difficult material.

Students who receive a grade of 100% on a chapter test in Math will be rewarded with a homework pass. When signed by a parent, these passes allow a student to skip one Math homework assignment. A pass is good for approximately 2 weeks before expiring.
