Hello,
My name is Mrs. Cheryl Greene and I am the Coordinator of Special Education Services as well as the Librarian at St. Andrew’s Country Day School. I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with you and your child this year.
This is my fifth year at St. Andrew’s in the capacity of Special Education Coordinator, and my first as the school librarian. Before coming to St. Andrew’s I taught for four years in public school, and four years in a private school for emotionally disturbed children.
I have an Undergraduate Degree from SUNY Fredonia in Elementary Education with both and Early Childhood and Middle School extension and a Masters Degree from Buffalo State in Special Education with a concentration in sever and emotional disturbances. I not only student taught in the Hamburg School District for my Elementary Degree and in a Special Education School in Buffalo for my Masters Degree, but I spent six weeks student teaching in Swansea, Wales after graduating from Fredonia.
Outside of St. Andrew’s my Husband Chris and I have been blessed with three wonderful children, James, Michael, and Madison. We are pleased to say that our children are all students at St. Andrew’s. We believe they are receiving a firm foundation for the rest of their lives with the education they are receiving here.
