Welcome to Spanish Grades 5,6, 7 & 8

Buenos Dias! My name is Charmaine Arieno-Smith. I am looking forward to teaching your child Spanish this year. We will be learning to speak, understand, read and write Spanish with a variety of interactive class activities, games and practice techniques. The syllabus for this year is based on the NYS Standards in Languages Other than English as well as the standards created by the Diocese of Buffalo. On this page, you can access the syllabus for each of the courses that I teach, as well as my classroom procedures and supplies needed for each class. Grade 5~

Supplies needed:

• Pen/pencil/
• Colored pencils/markers/or crayons
• Spiral notebook
• 3x5 cards
• Pocket sized Spanish dictionary (optional)
• 1 2 pocket folder

Classroom Procedures:

*Respect others and school property
*Bring all supplies needed to class
* You are responsible for making up all missed work.
