Classroom News

What's New For February?

Students are finishing up their health/science art projects and moving onto a new topic for the month of February.  For the month of February, students will be learning about local buffalo artists.  Students are exploring artists, such as Charles Burchfield and Kelly Freas.  The second grade students are exploring various local graphic artists who create their own "Buffalo, NY" themed logos. They will be designing their own logos in which parents can turn their child's work into a real t-shirt with the help of Artsonia.com.  Fourth grade is incorporating sensory poetry into their city scape collages which will illustrate the students' feelings and admiration towards Buffalo.
