Hello!  My name is Mrs. Cacicia and I have been teaching here at St. Andrew's for 5 years.  I have taught in 3rd, 4th grade, and 5th grade.  What I truly enjoy about teaching 4th grade is the hands-on activities in Science class!  Yes, there's a lot of work preparing for the NYS test in June, but it makes my day to see the students' faces light up when they discover something new. My favorite part about being a teacher at St. Andrew's is the way we all come together as a family.  Everyone was so welcoming when I first arrived as a new teacher, and nothing has changed since.  This includes faculty, staff, students, and parents.  It's great coming to work!
Not only do I teach 4th grade, but I am also an advisor for the National Junior Honor Society, a member of the Health/Science Fair committee, a member of the Character Trait committee, and part of Mrs. Ferrio's Shared Decision Making team.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband and baby daughter, and also with our extended family.  We love getting together for dinners and outings on a regular basis.  Some favorite sports of mine are watching baseball (GO YANKEES!), playing softball, watching hockey (GO SABRES!), and watching football (GO BILLS!).
